The Kia Sorento is an automatic 7-seat SUV, comfortable for families on Kigali streets and the paved roads to Musanze, Rubavu and Nyungwe. The Toyota Prado is a 7-seat manual 4x4 with the clearance for rough roads and Akagera. For bigger groups on safari, our manual safari car seats 8.

Tips for family and group trips
- Tell us how many people and bags you have, and we suggest the right car.
- Add a driver for $20 per day so everyone can enjoy the view, and nobody has to navigate.
- For game drives in Akagera, choose the Prado or the safari car.
- Kigali to Musanze for gorilla trekking takes about 2–2.5 hours: leave early, or stay the night before.
